PROJECT

A Client who's family owned a very small piece of land with two single storey old garages. The younger family member wishing to stay in the area and wants his own dwelling. The site is extremely tight and the new dwelling leaves  approx 1200mm between the new wall surface and the boundary. The design is L shaped to accommodate  natural light to the 3 first floor bedrooms. Velux roof lights add to the level of natural light to the first floor. On the ground floor the main entrance is situated in the inside of the L giving good direct access to all areas and the U shaped stairway. To the left of the entrance is the kitchen at the front of the house and to the right the main through living and dining space. A traditional slate roof and front bell feature complete this crafted be lakeland dwelling which sits as if it has always been on this site.
