Woodville Terrace Lytham

My Cleint’s had bought a 1960’s property in a great location close to the promenade and Park in Lytham. The house was looking it’s 1960’s age and was in need of a serious upgrade. The existing house was completely changed within and opened up to allow an open plan kitchen dining area with access to the ingrate garage and utility area. A new feature open hardwood stairway leading to three bedrooms and new bathroom, with one bedroom being a master bedroom with its own ensuite and having sea views. The existing front room has been completely altered and extended with two projecting hipped roofs with large overhangs. These new roofs not only provide shade and weather protection but also give the building its presence, character and connection to its surroundings. Fully glazed perimeter windows and french doors allow the horizontal hipped roofs to float as if on the surface of the sea which is close by.
Materials : Roof Lakeland slate, Walls painted plain render, Windows and doors protected American Oak.
